He asked my Mom for a date. She was out with some girlfriends and he came right up to the table and asked her. She was to scared to go go out with him. Not for any reason other than she was 17 and her family had only been in Houston about a year. She was a farm raised girl that was probably still a little intimidated by the big city, haha.

I remember the commercials and thought they were hilarious but I dont remember even going into a Federated store or buying anything from there . I bougt most of my stereo gear at pacific stereo . So I guess the commercials didnt have the desired effect on me
